HELP WANTED - VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR
For twenty years, Critteraid has operated without a permanent Volunteer Coordinator. It is time that this position be filled.
This volunteer will oversee all aspects of volunteering with the Society including the Cat Sanctuary, the Dog House Division, Critteraid Farm and fundraising events. The Volunteer Coordinator will work closely with Directors and the Cat Sanctuary Volunteers.
This Volunteer should be a member of Critteraid, and have access to a computer with email.
HELP WANTED - FENCING
Pasture 2 at Critteraid Farm needs to be fenced with no-climb wire. This is Skippy and Meghan's pasture. Presently, they are not allowed out there because only one half of the pasture is fenced in this fashion.
Unfortunately, Ricky, our alpaca, has taught Skippy, our donkey, how to get out of the pasture by crawling underneath the wire that is there. Skippy and Meghan, our miniature horse, are on extremely restricted diets because they have foundered in the past and they cannot spend much time grazing on the lush grass. It is far too dangerous for them to get out of that pasture and eat continuously.
This Volunteer can work at their own pace and get the no-climb wire secure in this pasture in order that Skippy and Meghan can at least spend some time each day grazing and running - even though Skippy looks a little like a football player impersonating a ballerina when he runs. We have one roll of wire on hand at the farm presently and we are able to purchase more. We also have a box of fence staples.
This Volunteer shall report directly to the Director in charge of Critteraid Farm.
